Welcome:

You may come among us as a visitor or an enquirer, wanting to find out more about the Christian faith or wanting to find peace or comfort.  We warmly welcome you to our worship service and pray that the Lord’s presence and his word to you may be a great help.

You can be sure that God loves you and has a purpose and a plan for your life, which he wants you to know about.

You may feel unworthy of the love of God but the truth is- none of us are worthy!  We have all failed God, but when we admit that and turn away from all that we know to be wrong, we can know a new beginning with God.  It’s just like starting all over again- but this time, allowing the Lord to have us and take us in hand.

The bible says: If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Cor. 5.17).  You can know a new start by faith in Jesus.

A Christian is someone who has come to know the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and whose life has been transformed by the risen Lord Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Thinking of the devil’s work compared with his work, Jesus said:

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.(John 10.10)

The fullest and best life is found in a restored relationship with God which Jesus makes possible.
